Behind every creation and every product you encounter, there is a hand story.
At Keyo, we love hands. Hands not only make us human but they also contain our identity. This week we have an interview from Martina Vorbeck, a Photographer from Quito, Ecuador.
Check out her story below.
Where are based from?
São Paulo - Brasil.
What do you do?
I’m a photographer.
How did you get started started?
I graduated in professional fashion photography, but I currently focus on registering the world I perceive, documenting through my lens the people and places I get to know.
I was lost at the beginning, because I didn’t know how to start, but one day I decide to take a life changing trip to Africa, and I didn’t stop ever since.
What do you love most about what you do?
The energy and love I receive from the places, cultures and especial people I get to meet.
Where do you get your inspiration?
My photography is inspired by both internal and external realities.
I’m inspired by risk. Starting something I have no idea how to finish. anything that has the potential for failure, gets my heart pumping.
But mainly all the inspiration comes from love.
What are some tips for other people to follow your path?
Keeping a personal perception and internal harmony, is always going to show the perfect path in a particular way, if you follow your internal voice then you will never loose yourself. Everybody has its own way of drifting by, just take the initiative to do what you love.
Any favorite books, songs, podcasts, shows?

What's identity to you?
I think that identity is what you are before everything, before the questions, before the answers, its your soul. Its what is inside, and you only know who you are when you manage to live your true essence. You have to tune in to your inner and turn on the magic to let it happen.
You only know who you are when you manage to live your true essence.
