Messaging Policy

Keyo, Inc. (referred to as “we”, “us”, or “our”) respects your privacy and is committed to protecting your privacy online.  The purpose of this privacy policy is to explain to you how your ‘Personally identifiable information’ (“PII”) is being used online. PII is information that can be used on its own or with other information to identify, contact, or locate you. Please read our privacy policy carefully to get a clear understanding of how we collect, use, protect, or otherwise handle your PII in accordance with our website.

What personal information do we collect from the people that visit our blog, website or app?

When ordering or registering on our site, as appropriate, you may be asked to enter your name, email address, mailing address, phone number, credit card/other payment information, Biometric Data or other details to help you with your experience and provide services to you. “Biometric Data” is physical information about you that can be used to identify you – like a fingerprint, handprint ,or an iris scan.

When do we collect information?

We collect information from you when you register on our website, place an order, subscribe to a newsletter, respond to a survey, fill out a form, use live chat, open a support ticket, use a Keyo terminal, or enter information on our website. We collect Biometric Data from you when you use a Keyo kiosk and provide your Biometric Data or when you use a Keyo terminal to pay for goods or services at a participating merchant.

How do we use your information?

We may use the information we collect from you in the following ways:

  • To personalize your experience and to allow us to deliver the type of content/product offerings in which you are most interested;
  • To improve our website in order to better serve you;
  • To allow us to better service you in responding to your customer service requests;
  • To administer a contest, promotion, survey or other website feature;
  • To quickly process your transactions;
  • To ask for ratings and reviews of services or products; and
  • To follow up with you after correspondence (live chat, email or phone inquiries).


How do we protect your information?


Although no data transmission can be guaranteed to be 100% secure, we take reasonable steps to protect all PII. We maintain strict administrative, technical, and physical procedures to protect information stored in our servers, which are located in the United States. Access to information is limited (through user/password credentials and software systems) to those employees who require it to perform their job functions. We use industry-standard Secure Socket Layer (SSL) encryption technology, as well as AES 256-bit encryption technology, to safeguard the account registration process, biometric information, payment information and sign-up information. Other security safeguards include data encryption, firewalls, and physical access controls to building and files. We use regular Malware Scanning.
We do not use vulnerability scanning and/or scanning to PCI standards.
For your convenience, we may store your credit card information for more than 60 days in order to expedite future orders and to automate the billing process. You may change, update, or remove your credit card information by accessing your account through our website.

 Do we use ‘cookies’?

Yes. Cookies are small files that a website or its service provider transfers to your computer’s hard drive through your browser (if your permission settings allow Cookies) that enables the website’s or service provider’s systems to recognize your browser and capture and remember certain information.

We use cookies to:

  • Help remember and process the items in the shopping cart.
  • Understand and save user’s preferences for future visits.
  • Keep track of advertisements.
  • Compile aggregate data about site traffic and site interactions in order to offer better website experiences and tools in the future. We may also use trusted third-party services that track this information on our behalf.

Each browser is a little different, so look at your browser’s Help menu to learn the correct way to modify your cookies.

 Third-party disclosure

We do not sell, trade, or otherwise transfer to outside parties your PII unless we provide users with advance notice. This restriction does not include website hosting partners and other parties who assist us in operating our website, conducting our business, or providing services to you, so long as those parties agree to keep this information confidential. We may also release information when it’s release is appropriate to comply with the law, enforce our website policies, or protect ours or others’ rights, property, or safety. We do not sell, lease, or trade your Biometric Data.


However, non-personally identifiable visitor information may be provided to other parties for marketing, advertising, or other uses.

Occasionally, we may include or offer third-party products or services on our website. These third- party websites are governed by separate and independent privacy policies and terms of use. We therefore have no responsibility or liability for the content and activities of these linked websites. Nonetheless, we seek to protect the integrity of our website and welcome any feedback about these sites.

We use Google AdSense Advertising on our website.


Google, as a third-party vendor, uses cookies to serve ads on our website. Google’s use of the DART cookie enables it to serve ads to our users based on previous visits to our site and other sites on the Internet.

We have implemented the following Google services:
  • Remarketing with Google AdSense
  • Google Display Network Impression Reporting
  • Demographics and Interests Reporting
  • DoubleClick Platform Integration

Opting out:
Users can set preferences for how Google advertises to you using the Google Ad Settings page. Alternatively, you can opt out by visiting the Network Advertising initiative opt out page or permanently using the Google Analytics Opt Out Browser add on.
 
How does our site handle do not track signals?
We honor do not track signals and do not track, plant cookies, or use advertising when a Do Not Track (“DNT”) browser mechanism is in place.
